Description
This is the first kingfisher I've ever seen, let alone taken a photograph of. Before this picture was taken while traveling along the Norfolk Broads I never knew how small these birds were. So small in fact when I saw a streak of blue diving out from some tall reeds I thought it was a large dragonfly. After a short flight the kingfisher stopped on a branch and I managed a couple of shots as oour boat went by.
